Mountain Zones and Egg Rarity Distribution

The mountain trail consists of all 18 stages, beginning with basic nests in the Foothills and extending all the way up to the Dragon nest on Genesis Summit. Egg rarity scales directly with elevation. Low-elevation nests spawn Common and Uncommon eggs, which hatch starter companions such as bunnies, golden retrievers, and dingos.

As climbers advance into intermediate areas like the Jungle Basin, Dune Mesa, and Amethyst caverns, nests begin rolling Epic and Legendary drops. High-tier zones, including the Frost Spires and upper peaks, host Mythic, Godly, Divine, and Secret eggs. Nests refresh on a regular cycle, meaning a nest site that holds a Common or Epic egg during one climb can roll a Legendary or Secret egg after the timer resets.

Nest Stealing and Parent Mechanics

Every egg sits inside a guarded nest. Stealing requires approaching the nest while the animal parent rests, grabbing the egg, and sprinting back down the trail toward the home pen. If the parent detects the theft, it immediately pursues the player. Being hit by a guardian resets the player back down the mountain, causing the stolen egg to return to its original nest.

Targeting specific nest locations requires monitoring parent speed. While early creatures like the polar bear and cow move at slower speeds, guardians like the lion, tiger, and summit dragon move fast enough to catch players with insufficient stats. Successful runs depend on grabbing the egg instantly and jumping downward along steep path edges to break line of sight and gain distance.

Mutations, Egg Sizes, and Hatching Returns

Egg quality involves visual scale and modifiers alongside base rarity tiers. Large and jumbo eggs appear directly in nest slots, requiring identical transport mechanics but yielding higher income pets upon hatching. Nests also produce egg mutations, such as Golden and Diamond variants, which grant flat bonus multipliers to pet earnings.

Hatched animals generate cash per second inside the pen. While standard Common bunnies yield 300 cash per second and early Epic fish or dingoes produce between 2,500 and 11,000 cash, high-tier hatches scale dramatically. Legendary animals generate between 23,000 and 34,000 cash per second, Mythic dragons reach 70,000 cash per second, and Secret pets yield upwards of 460,000 cash per second.

Gear and Stat Requirements for High-Tier Climbs

Reaching the highest peaks demands consistent training on the home treadmill. Running on the treadmill builds Strength, which increases climbing speed on steep ladders and running speed along open ground. Players who attempt high-elevation climbs without sufficient Strength run out of stamina on upper rock faces, leaving them vulnerable to fast parents.

Equipping higher-grade hiking poles multiplies the Strength gained during treadmill training sessions. Progression moves from standard wooden and stone gear up through Jade, Amethyst, Obsidian, and Phoenix poles. Maintaining upgraded poles allows players to build the Strength required to reach the highest summit nests and safely return rare eggs to base.
